Blogging risk

wow... blogging has been the best thing I've ever done. It has been my internet journal.

But then there's always some bad stuff when it comes to good stuff. Like medicines and side affects.

But let me start with the good part.

Lets say your a journalist, documenting a situation in a different country. Say a country in war. So you imagine he situation your in. There is bombs flying around your head, bullets whooshing the skies and worst yet are the terrorist.

Yes terrorist, who are able to capture you and keep you cause they think your a spy for the opposite force. So you keep on repeating your a journalist on duty for a News Agency back @ home. But they don't believe you. Then something came to mind. You have a blog and you just tell them to seach your name on the internet. So the terrorist did and it turns out they found your blog, together with all your informtion in your profile.

So the journalist was set free. Haha, unbelievable right?. Well its true. Kinda, well its possible.

Next bad stuff. Did you know that all your information is on your internet social accounts. I won't say it cause it might pose a threat to me too.

So all your information is on your social internet accounts. Even though you use a fake username intelligent sources can still get details of you.

Now, I give you this situation. You are about to be the head of a known top organisation. But you can't just simple be like that in a flash so relevant authorities will look into your records. They would like to know who are you, where you came from, do you have any criminal records - so on and so forth. They will also be cross reffering to a checklist, making sure that you are eligible to be in that very post. Then, its just like you got a 90% chance now to get the post.

Suddenly some of the authorities search your name on the net and look at what have they found. They have found your "double life". From this they are able to find other people who have known you. I emphasize "who have known you". Now why that. Because these are the people that you might have left out, hated, or never got in touch with.

So they interviewed one of them, and it turns out to be one of you friends whom you betrayed. Being that he tells all the juice about you. Yup, all the information that have not been recorded and therefore not making you head of the organisation. Why? cause your friend squeled on you. He told them your "darkside".

So, its clear people. We should be more responsible on the net even in blogging. Nowadays blogging is exapanding reaching more and more people. Thus more secrets can be told.
